💾 About Me
I am a graduate student in the Artificial Intelligence Engineering program at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), and I am currently conducting research at the Health Intelligence Lab at UCLA under the supervision of Professor Yuzhe Yang. Prior to joining CMU, I received my B.Eng degree in Artificial Intelligence from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST). During my undergraduate studies, I was fortunate to work with Professor Hao Lu at HUST, Professor Bin Shi at Xi’an Jiaotong University, and Dr. Haoxuan Li at Peking University.
My research focuses on AI for Healthcare, Multimodal Learning, and Physiological Time Series. I am open to collaborative research opportunities.
I am actively seeking PhD opportunities for Fall 2027!
🔬 Research Interests
My research interests lie at the intersection of multimodal learning and AI for healthcare, with a particular focus on physiological time series. I am interested in developing models that learn robust representations from heterogeneous health data and generalize across sensors, patients, and cohorts. These interests have led me to explore two main research questions:
- Representation Learning for Physiological Time Series: How can we learn generalizable representations from heterogeneous and multichannel physiological signals?
- Multimodal Learning for Healthcare: How can we effectively integrate complementary information from multiple health data sources for prediction and generation in real-world healthcare settings?

🎸 A Few Things About Me
Away from research, I enjoy road trips, hiking, and exploring new places. I also play fingerstyle acoustic guitar and am always looking for a new piece to learn. I have also gone skydiving and am always up for a new outdoor adventure. If you want to talk research, recommend a hiking trail, or swap guitar pieces, feel free to reach out.
